Just ate lunch there this afternoon. Ordered a bowl of wan tan mee. It cost 15 dollars, and the portion was huge, so we shared. What amazed me was the quality of the roast pork or Char Siew. It was really delicious . Reminded me of wan tan mee in Malaysia. This will become one of my favourite go-to places for this noodle dish. This place and Wok and Pan. Both really awesome for authentic Wan Tan Mee.

Penang Cuisine has excellent Malaysian dishes albeit with sketchy customer service. My standout dish is Salt & Chilli Pork Chop with Fried Rice, something I have enjoyed on and off for over 20 years from this kitchen. Enjoy the food from Penang Cuisine but also appreciate the "old school" neon light signage that adorns the establishment.

This is hands down the tastiest laksa I've had in a long time, easily trumps Yin Yang in Fremantle. The soup base is super strong and tasty! Very speedy kitchen too. Cash only, laksa was $13. Note: Probably don't come here if you have dietary requirements, and don't expect the owner to smile at you. I see a lot of 1 star reviews, but the owner isn't even that rude by Asian standards :p

Ordered a mee fun noodle dish and this tasted absolutely amazing, although it took its time because the place makes one dish at a time it tasted well. My gorgeous woman also ordered the satay chicken and the sauce and the chicken were flavoured really well as well.

We’ve been to Penang Cuisine a bunch of times – it’s one of those places you know exactly what you’re going to get. Like a lot of people have mentioned, the customer service isn’t the warmest, but if you’ve been to Malaysia, it’s pretty on-brand and not unexpected. The food is solid – nothing over the top, but definitely authentic and consistent, which we really appreciate. Prices are cheaper than most of the other stalls at Spencer Village, and the portion sizes are still generous – nice to see a place that hasn’t fallen victim to shrinkflation. Definitely a dependable spot when you’re after a satisfying feed.
